Volunteering!

Volunteering is a great way to get some experience doing different types of work, and it looks good on your CV too! Even if you can only spare a couple of hours a week, there will still be something you could try.

  • Volunteer Scotland: This website has a list of volunteering opportunities you can browse through. You can search by postcode or type of job, so you can find out what is available near you. Volunteer Scotland website

  • Edinburgh Leisure: do you like being sporty and are looking for a volunteering opportunity? If you’re aged 14-24, Edinburgh Leisure have a project called PRO-ACTIVE, aimed at giving young people qualifications in their chosen sport. Read more here: click here
