New information service for disabled learners and their supporters from Enquire
Lead Scotland (Specialists in Linking Education and Disability) has set up a new Information Service for disabled learners and those who support them.
The service includes a freephone helpline and e-mail enquiry service, and is open to anyone with any kind of disability or health condition, as well as those who support or care for a disabled person. We can provide information and advice on a range of issues, including:
- applying for educational courses and training programmes
- information on community learning opportunities
- sources of funding and support for disabled learners
- support for the people supporting you
- information regarding disability equality and discrimination
- signposting to specialist sources of support

The service is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2-4pm, and Thursdays and Fridays from 10am-12pm.
