Co-ordinated Support Plan (CSP) A Co-ordinated Support Plan (CSP) is a legal document prepared by local authorities for certain children and young people with additional support needs (i.e. the support from education to reach their full potential). The plan outlines: their additional support needs, objectives that have been set for them to achieve and the support they need to achieve the objectives. A parent can challenge the contents of a Co-ordinated Support Plan at an Additional Support Needs Tribunal. To meet the criteria for a co-ordinated support plan a child or young person must have additional support needs arising from one or more complex factors or multiple factors and these needs must be likely to continue for more than a year.
