Pupil Support Assistant (PSA) - also called learning support assistant A Pupil Support Assistant (PSA) works closely with teachers in the classroom and their role is to encourage children and young people with learning activities. The PSA may support your child 1:1 for some of the time, or support your child in small groups. If your child has a high level of need a PSA may support them throughout the school day.
