Legacy giving

Leaving a gift in your will - Legacy giving

Kindred are a wonderful support. Their empathetic and supportive work is invaluable. They literally prop you up when it feels like the world around you is collapsing. I will feel forever indebted to Kindred.
Parent

Looking after a child with a long term serious, sometimes life limiting illness or disability brings practical and emotional demands for parents. That emotional energy of focusing on a child’s medical condition and prognosis, combined with the practicalities of a sudden drop in income because a parent can no longer work can be overwhelming. Siblings may worry about their brother or sister and can miss out on time with their parent/parents, who are focused on the child who is unwell

Your legacy gifts help families to cope at a difficult time.

Gifts in wills help families to build their resilience, spend time with their sick child and their siblings and enable Kindred to continue supporting around 700 families every year.

Legacy gifts mean so much to us. They pay for our workers to give emotional and practical support in the hospital, online and in the community. To be in the spaces where Kindred families are.

We understand that writing a will is a very personal statement of your wishes for the future. Once you have provided for your loved ones, please consider leaving a gift to Kindred, allowing families to enjoy their precious time together.

By leaving a gift in your will, you’ll touch the lives of those families who need our support and give them a happier future, one filled with the practical and emotional help which brings comfort and creates spaces to build family memories.
