Linda Black – Information and Advocacy Manager, Fife Office

More from Linda:

Hi, my name is Linda, and I am the Fife Information and Advocacy Manager.

I am delighted and privileged to have been part of the Fife team since its fruition in 2007, like many of my colleagues at Kindred, I have a close family member with additional support needs, this helps me to empathise with other families and the difficulties they might be facing.

Working for Kindred is a continual learning curve and I aim to continue to increase and build upon my knowledge and understanding of the challenges that face families looking after a child with additional support needs.

I hope to be able to put my existing experience and advocacy skills to good use, to support and work closely with families in a holistic manner that best meets their needs.

I am mum to two children, my daughter is actively involved in the performing arts and when I am not running about being mum’s taxi or helping back stage, I enjoy sitting back and watching her perform.

I have always been actively involved in our local community, amongst other things, I am currently chair of our school Parent Council and part of the parents fund raising committee.

If I can help in any way please get in touch with me via our Fife office.
