Become a Kindred Star

Every charity has supporters that go above and beyond with their fundraising efforts. People do this for various reasons, sometimes personal and sometimes because someone else gets them involved in their own fun fundraising event.

Whatever the reason, charities cannot do without the generous fundraising that our communities do to keep our services running.

At Kindred we too have our very own Kindred Stars.

One such Kindred Star is Molly Paechter. Molly has done some very amazing and courageous fundraising for Kindred.

Molly shaved off all her hair to raise awareness and funds for Kindred!

Now we are not suggesting you need to go that far but if you feel inspired by Molly and want to raise funds in your own way, then please do contact us for our Fundraising Pack.

Contact us for support or try one of Kindreds 30 Fundraising ideas and help us to celebrate our 30th anniversary

Molly's story

My name is Molly Paechter, I am 21 years old, I am currently studying for a degree in Social Anthropology at St Andrew's. I got to know Kindred a few years ago when they became a massive support for me and my family. I got the opportunity to volunteer with Kindred in my university holiday at the beginning of this year, it was really interesting to see the scope of the work they do and to feel like I was helping to make a difference to families lives. I decided to fundraise for Kindred, as I was going back to university, and I wanted to continue to support the work they do.

“To those thinking of fundraising, I would say - go for it! it was a really valuable experience for me. It was a real source of connection with the Kindred community and really makes you feel like you're making a difference."
